Self Lubricating
Rod Ends from FLURO for Motor Sport
Metric,
Self-lubricating High Performance Rod-ends and Spherical Bearings.
Established in 1973 the FLURO Company of Germany can offer a range
of self-lubricated, high performance rod-end and spherical bearings
designed for the race car and motor-cycle industry.
With balls made from hard chrome plated bearing steel, outer races
from AISI 303 stainless steel, and rod end housings from high
strength alloyed steel, nickel plated and polished, FLURO offer high
performance rod ends that look good as well as perform.
The
MS-Series of rod-end and spherical bearings have a tighter than
normal fit and are used in Formula 3 racing cars in Europe and the
UK. FLURO have also developed a new prototype rod-end which
was successfully tested by Renault Alpine for 25,000 road kilometres
with no increase in internal play.
Working closely with Martin Hohn (a precision machining company),
FLURO can offer solutions to customer designs with special linkages,
couplings, different shaft lengths etc.
