Celebrating 30 Years in Manufacturing

CGB Precision Product would like to congratulate  FLURO-Gelenklager GmbH on celebrating 30 years as one of Europe 's premier spherical and rod end manufacturers.

Founded in 1976 by Martin Hohn, FLURO Gelenklager GmbH (FLURO Rod Ends/Spherical Plain Bearings Ltd.) manufactures a range of spherical and rod-end bearings, including maintenance free and stainless steel to European specifications.

Included in this range is its MS special series designed for motor sport applications that provides maintenance free, tight ball fit and high polished plating finish for that showroom presentation. A mid-size company with a strong family involvement allows high flexibility and a genuine commitment to quality production. This is all in conjunction with a true effort to achieve complete customer satisfaction.

FLURO is celebrating by opening its new warehouse and parts shipping department, with complete automation of all material movement (finished and unfinished parts). FLURO's key word is professional logistic and this means a strengthening of the present company location and a release of additional work capacity.

For FLURO itself it is the most important investment ever done in its history - for FLURO's customers it is a major step to an optimised customer service. The company knows that this will increase its competitiveness and foster the establishment of the brand name FLURO worldwide.

Deakin University's 2006 SAE Formula Challenge

CGB is again proud to sponsor Deakin University's 2006 SAE Formula Challenge.

Formula SAE is for students to conceive, design, fabricate and compete with small formula-style racing cars. The purpose of the competition is for the students to assume that a manufacturing firm has engaged them to produce a prototype car complete with marketing and manufacturing plan.

This is the fourth year CGB has provided sponsorship by supplying FLURO rod ends and spherical bearings for all suspension components.

This year sees the team, along with three other Australian universities, travelling to Germany to compete against both German and universities from other countries. The competition is to be held from 3-6 August at the famous Hockeniem race circuit.

Good luck from the staff and management at CGB.
